SBP journalist vows not to reveal source
Sunday Business Post journalist Barry O'Kelly has vowed to resist the Mahon Tribunal's legal attempts to get him to reveal the source of articles he wrote earlier this year.
The articles were based on confidential tribunal documents that had not been made public.
Tribunal chairman Alan Mahon announced this morning that he would be seeking a High Court order directing Mr O'Kelly to reveal the identity of the person who gave him the documents.
However, Mr O'Kelly has insisted that he will not do so, saying: "This is a position that has always been adopted by journalists. We simply cannot reveal our sources and my position isn't going to change."
