Childcare sector given €25m boost

Almost €25m in funding will create thousands of much-needed childcare places around the country, it emerged today.

The multi-million euro package will allow 51 community based/not for profit care groups to open 2,080 new high quality places and enhance the standard of the 1,420 existing places.
