Noel Ahern rejects criticism of Govt’s housing policy

Junior Minister Noel Ahern has rejected criticism of the Government's housing policy and its alleged failure to make housing affordable for ordinary working people.

Earlier today, Labour Party TD Eamon Gilmore said the record level of house-building reported by Mr Ahern today masked the Government's failure to ensure that people on low and moderate incomes could afford a home of their own.
