Labour says record house-building masks poor govt policy

The Labour Party has said that the record number of house completions reported by the Department of the Environment today masks poor government policy in the area of housing.

Figures released by the department today showed that 61,000 houses and apartments had been built in the first 10 months of the year, a 13% increase on the same period last year.
