Irish and British govts to sign new deal on Sellafield today

The Irish and British governments are due to sign a new agreement today that will give Irish inspectors improved access to the Sellafield nuclear plant and its security arrangements.

The Irish Government has already taken a number of legal actions against Britain over the Sellafield plant due to fears about dangerous emissions and the possibility of a terrorist attack on the facility.
