Changes to film certificates announced

The Film Censor, John Kelleher, has announced changes to the certificate categories awarded to films cleared for screening in Ireland.

Mr Kelleher said today that a new '16' certificate would be introduced on January 1 for films suitable for viewing by people aged 16 years and over.
