2.38 million contraband cigarettes seized at Rosslare Port
Customs officers in Rosslare have seized 2.38 million contraband cigarettes that arrived in the Co Wexford port on a ferry last night.
The Soveriegn and Doncaster brand cigarettes, which would have been worth €740,000 if sold legally, were found hidden in a container that arrived from the French port of Cherbourg.
