A SIPTU representative on the newly-established Dublin Airport Authority has reportedly resigned in protest at a recent deal reached between Ryanair and the independent Shannon Airport Authority.

A SIPTU representative on the newly-established Dublin Airport Authority has reportedly resigned in protest at a recent deal reached between Ryanair and the independent Shannon Airport Authority.

Under the deal, Ryanair received discounts on landing fees in return for basing a number of its planes at the Co Clare airport.
