Coveney criticises McCabe decision

Fine Gael MEP Simon Coveney has slammed the Government's decision to support the release of the four IRA men serving sentences for the manslaughter of Detective Garda Jerry McCabe.

The Taoiseach told the Dáil yesterday the Government would be recommended their release if there was a deal to save the peace process.
