Strike hits Irish Ferries sailings

Irish Ferries sailings between Ireland and Britain are facing cancellation today due to strike action by SIPTU members at the company.

The 24-hour stoppage was arranged in protest at the firm’s decision to outsource jobs on its Rosslare and France sailings next year.
