Third level students advised to get MMR

Third level students have been advised to get the MMR vaccination.

The Eastern Regional Health Authority has made the recommendation to those in the 16 to 24 age group.

The Authority has reported an increase in the number of mumps cases.

Fifty-three cases have been reported in the past six weeks.
