Most people want to die in own home

Most people would like to die in their own home surrounded by their loved ones, according to a survey commissioned by the Irish Hospice Foundation.

Sixty-seven per cent of respondents to the survey said they wanted to be cared for at home if they were dying, with just one in 10 wishing to die in a hospital.
