A man is recovering in hospital this morning after he was stabbed in the stomach in west Dublin.

A man is recovering in hospital this morning after he was stabbed in the stomach in west Dublin.

The incident happened at Arthur Griffith Park in Lucan at around 2.45am.

The victim was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown, where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí are investigating the stabbing.
