George Bush to talk to Adams

George W Bush is expected to speak to the Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams today in an attempt to finalise an agreement between the parties in Northern Ireland.

This is Mr Bush's first venture into Northern Ireland politics.It comes while the Democratic Unionist Party and Sinn Féin are considering the Irish and British governments' response to issues raised by them about a proposed deal.
