€30,000 taken during armed raid at Navan petrol station

A gang of four armed men have made away with €30,000 after holding up a petrol station in Navan last night.

A gang of four armed men have made away with €30,000 after holding up a petrol station in Navan last night.

The men in balaclavas were armed with sledgehammers and iron bars when they raided the station on the Proudstown Road at around 11pm.

They made away in a silver-coloured car.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the robbery to come forward.
