Fears over rubbish collection charges dismissed

Fears that Dubliners could end up forking out hundreds of euro in charges for rubbish collection were today dismissed.

John Fitzgerald, Dublin City Council manager, rubbished claims that refuse collection fees would spiral out of control and said he was confident the public would accept the increases.
