Mayo TD suspended from the Dáil

Mayo Independent TD Gerry Cowley has been suspended from the Dáil.

Dr Cowley attempted to raise questions about problems at Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar during leaders’ questions this morning.

As Deputy Cowley is not a party leader, he was ruled out of order on several occasions and was dismissed from the Dáil amid uproar.
