The family of Irish born aid worker Margaret Hassan have said they fear she may have been murdered by her captors.

The family of Irish born aid worker Margaret Hassan have said they fear she may have been murdered by her captors.

The 59-year-old director of Care International has been held hostage since October 19.

Her husband Tahseen Ali has released a statement in which he has said there may be a video, showing her death.

While a statement Ms Hassan's family have said: "Our hearts are broken, we have kept hoping for as long as we could, but we now have to accept that Margaret has probably gone and at last her suffering has ended.”
