A row over a financial charge for getting results at the Institutes of Technology has been resolved.

A row over a financial charge for getting results at the Institutes of Technology has been resolved.

The Technical, Electrical and Engineering Union had taken a High Court action over craft apprentices who had to pay €250 for their exam results to be released.

The service charge is to be abolished from January and students will only be subject to a €50 exam fee.
