Hospital protestors march on Dáil

Up to five hundred people marched to the Dáil in protest at the ongoing crisis in Accident and Emergency Units.

The demonstration led by lobby group Patients' Together is highlighting chronic bed shortages and overcrowding in emergency units in hospitals across the country.

Spokesperson Janette Byrne said they were marching on behalf of the anonymous people waiting to be treated on trolleys.
