Murder squad detectives launched an inquiry today after a woman’s body was found at a house in Northern Ireland.

The victim, aged 37, was discovered at Recreation Road in Larne, Co Antrim.

She had chest wounds, possibly caused by a stabbing.

Detectives in the town want to speak to a man who made an anonymous phone call to the ambulance service after the body was found at around 10.25am.

They also want the driver to a blue Vauxhall Corsa, registration UCZ 1626, to contact them.
