Athlone Institute of Technology and Letterkenny IT are confirmed to have epidemics

Doctor Áine Lawlor from the Midlands Health Board said that affected students should stay out of college or work for 10 days after the symptoms develop.

The virus is infectious for four days before the symptoms show and for about seven days afterwards.
