A senior garda admitted to the Morris Tribunal today that two members of the McBrearty family were the only “realistic suspects” in the suspicious death of Richie Barron in 1996.

A senior garda admitted to the Morris Tribunal today that two members of the McBrearty family were the only “realistic suspects” in the suspicious death of Richie Barron in 1996.

The inquiry is probing Garda corruption in Donegal and focusing on the investigation into the Raphoe cattle dealer’s death during which the McBreartys were identified as murder suspects.
