Gardaí name father and daughter victims of fatal Cavan crash

Gardaí have released the names of the father and daughter killed in a road accident in Co Cavan last night.

Sixty-year-old John Gillece and his 33-year-old daughter Fiona Ronaghan, both from Co Fermanagh, died instantly when their jeep hit a lorry near Belturbet.

Another passenger remains in a critical condition in Cavan General Hospital and gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
