DUP Leader welcomes comments on decommissioning

The DUP Leader, Dr Ian Paisley, has welcomed a British government reassurance that IRA decommissioning must be both transparent and satisfactory to his party.

Speaking after raising the issue in the House of Commons, Dr Paisley said previous decommissioning had not inspired any confidence in the unionist community.
