Two held over attack on PSNI officer

Two men were arrested in Portadown, Co Armagh today when a policeman was assaulted while investigating an attack on the car of a Portuguese resident of the town.

In what appeared to be the latest in a growing series of racist attacks in Northern Ireland, police were called to investigate the smashing of the windscreen and a side window of the car.
