O’Reilly murder case: Garda lead yields CCTV footage of suspect

Gardaí are reported to be examining CCTV footage of a man they consider to be the prime suspect in the murder of Rachel O' Reilly, who was beaten to death with a blunt instrument at her home in north County Dublin on October 4.

The intensive investigation ruled out burglary. It is now believed there are some concrete leads.

A truck driver, who was near Ms O’Reilly’s house in Baldarragh on the day of her murder, has come forward to assist with the inquiries.

He has given gardaí information relating to a car that was seen in the area at the time, and its driver.
