Gardaí begin weekend road safety blitz

Gardaí are set to begin another road safety campaign tonight in an effort to prevent deaths and injuries on Irish roads over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The campaign begins at midnight and will continue through until Bank Holiday Monday night. It will focus on drink-driving, speeding and non-wearing of seat-belts.
