Dublin suburb shortlisted for award

The Dublin suburb of Ballyfermot has been shortlisted for an international award.

It was chosen from over 200 entries worldwide in the final 15 of the global LivCom awards.

The initiative recognises sound environmental practices and the creation of liveable communities.

A delegation from Ballyfermot is to make a final presentation before a judging panel in Canada next week.
