Harbison 'counted 24 blows' in couple murder trial
The former State Pathologist, Dr John Harbison, has told a murder trial he detected at least 24 blows of a blunt instrument on the head of the deceased.
Professor Harbison was giving evidence at the Central Criminal Court in the trial of Dolores O’Neill (aged 50), accused of murdering her 46-year-old husband, Declan O’Neill, on or about July 22, 2002.
