A number of Dublin theatres and nightclubs are reportedly planning to appeal last week’s court ruling forcing them to stop selling alcohol at 3am.

The venues were also ordered to stop all entertainment and dancing on their premises at 2.30am. Previously, many clubs operating under theatre licenses were allowed to remain open until 4am.
