Woman questioned over Derry murder is released without charge

A second woman being questioned about the murder of a man in Derry on Friday has tonight been released without charge.

Three other people, who were being questioned about the murder, were also released without charge earlier today.

22-year-old Darren Thompson died on Friday night after being shot in the head in the Waterside area of the city two days earlier.

One man is still being questioned about the killing which is being linked to loyalist paramilitaries.
