Junior Ministers named tonight
The reshuffle of Junior Ministers has been completed by Government at a meeting this evening.
Tom Kitt, named chief whip today, will also be Minister of State at the Departments of the Taoiseach and Defence.
Frank Fahey will be Minister of State at the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform.
Pat "the Cope" Gallagher will be Minister of State at the Department of Communications, Marine & Natural Resources.
John Browne to be Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food. Ivor Callelly to be Minister of State at the Department of Transport.
Noel Treacy to be Minister of State at the Departments of the Taoiseach and Foreign Affairs while new junior minister Seán Power to be Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children.
Another new face, Batt O'Keeffe, will be Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government while the other new face, Tony Killeen, will be Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
The other new appointment, Conor Lenihan will be Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Brendan Smith will to be Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food; and the duties of the Ministers of State will be assigned at the Government meeting to be held next week.
