Lithuanian man critical after attack

A Lithuanian man was in critical condition in hospital today following an attack by a gang of youths in Dublin.

The 48-year-old suffered serious head and neck injuries in the incident, which took place near the bridge over the Royal Canal in Drumcondra at around 9.45pm yesterday.
