Motorcyclist killed in Dublin crash

A motorcyclist has died after losing control of his vehicle and crashing on the M1 motorway in north Co Dublin last night.

The accident happened at the Cloughran roundabout at around 9.30pm.

A woman in her 30s also died yesterday when the car she was driving collided with another vehicle on the Athlone to Mullingar road near Ballymore, Co Westmeath. That accident happened at around 3.45pm.

Gardaí are withholding the names of both victims until all next of kin are informed.
