The National Adult Literacy Agency has published a booklet to help people with literacy problems understand financial jargon.

The booklet was launched as part of this year’s National Adult Literacy Awareness Week, which will focus on the area of financial literacy.

The NALA, which also launched a similar guide to legal jargon earlier this year, said 25% of Irish adults had some level of literacy problems.
