Dóchas, the umbrella body for non-governmental organisations in Ireland, has called on the Government to do more to meet its commitments on overseas aid.

The Fianna Fáil-Progressive Democrats coalition has vowed to increase its aid spending to 0.7% of Gross National Product by 2007.
