Unions and management discuss Waterford Crystal cutbacks

Unions and management at Waterford Crystal are meeting today to discuss the company’s proposal to put 1,400 employees on so-called “short-time working”.

The staff have rejected the idea, which would have seen them losing one week’s work every month between now and next March.
