LRC official appointed as facilitator of Aer Lingus talks

Kevin Foley, the director of conciliation services at the Labour Relations Commission, has been appointed as the facilitator to oversee talks between Aer Lingus and SIPTU.

The two sides decided to appoint the facilitator after failing to reach agreement about the airline’s plan to lay off 1,325 workers.
