Hewlett Packard to invest €21m in Kildare plant

The computer firm Hewlett Packard has announced plans to invest more than €21m in its inkjet manufacturing operation in Leixlip, Co Kildare.

The Tánaiste Mary Harney has described the investment as an important step in Ireland’s journey towards becoming “a leader in next-generation engineering, manufacturing and related information technologies”.
