Woman killed in north Dublin road accident

One woman is dead, and two people injured in north Co Dublin following an accident on the main Dublin to Derry road.

The accident happened near Coolquoy Lodge on the N2 shortly before 1pm today when a Mini and a Renault Laguna were in collision.

All three were travelling in the Mini and are said to be from the Ashbourne area.

Gardaí in Finglas have appealed for the driver of a light-green coloured Mercedes truck who may have information in relation to the incident to contact them.
