Hauliers withdraw services in row over fuel surcharges

Hauliers have withdrawn their services from another shipping company in Dublin Port.

The move follows a row over the introduction of a fuel surcharge following increases in fuel prices on the world market.

Spokesperson for the Irish Road Haulage Association, Jimmy Quinn, says the hauliers are facing financial ruin if they are not allowed to pass on the extra costs.
