Two released in Wicklow pub raid probe
Gardaí in Co Wicklow have released the two people arrested in connection with the shooting of a publican in the village of Carnew on Sunday morning.
The man and woman had been in custody since the weekend, but they were released without charge this morning. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Forty-four-year-old Michael Kenny was shot in the leg when three raiders broke into his pub on Saturday morning and demanded cash. They eventually fled the scene empty-handed.
