Tram derails on Luas Green Line in Dublin

A Luas train has come off the tracks in Dublin city centre this afternoon.

A Luas train has come off the tracks in Dublin city centre this afternoon.

One of the new trams derailed in the Stephen's Green area at about 2.30pm.

The Green Line from Sandyford to Stephen's Green only opened in June.

It is not yet clear what caused the incident but gardaí say they do not believe anyone was hurt.
