Teen dies in Co Kerry accident

A young woman, believed to be in her late teens, died when the car in which she was a passenger hit a tree in Killarney, Co Kerry.

The accident happened at about 4am today on the Ross Road in the town.

The driver of the car was taken to Tralee General Hospital, where his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
