Aer Lingus flights facing Saturday disruption
Aer Lingus flights from Dublin, Cork and Shannon Airports could be disrupted this Saturday due to a row over the airline’s plan to lay off 1,325 workers.
SIPTU, which represents more than half of the company’s 4,000 staff, is planning to hold general meetings at the three airports from noon on Saturday unless Aer Lingus lifts the September 14 deadline for acceptance of a redundancy package.
