Brinks submits new proposals to striking workers

Workers at Brinks Allied are due to vote today on proposals put forward by the company in an effort to end an on-going dispute over the introduction of new security vans and procedures.

The workers went on strike on Monday after the company rejected a Labour Court recommendation on how to end the stand-off, but Brinks has now put forward a modified version of the recommendation. Staff are due to vote on the new proposal at Liberty Hall in Dublin today.
