Former Taoiseach John Bruton has hit out at the organisers of Sunday's Madonna concert in Slane for refusing concessions to helpers of people with disabilities.

Mr Bruton has said he has contacted MCD asking for a special case for wheelchair-bound people who have already paid full price for their own ticket, but who require a full-time helper.
