Ahern to meet Clinton after Dublin book-signing

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will reportedly meet former US President Bill Clinton during the latter’s visit to Dublin tomorrow.

Reports this morning said Mr Ahern would hold a private meeting with Mr Clinton, who is visiting the city to promote his autobiography.

Mr Clinton is due to hold a book-signing in Eason’s on O’Connell Street before travelling to Belfast for a similar signing on Thursday.

He will be accompanied by his wife, New York Senator Hillary Clinton, who is due to give a speech on peace and reconciliation at the University of Ulster in Derry on Thursday.
