Customs seize €1m cigarette haul

Custom officers at Rosslare Port have seized 3.6 million contraband cigarettes worth around €1m.

The cigarettes were hidden in a 40 ft container in a consignment of eggs, which had arrived at Rosslare on the ferry from Cherbourg.
